It looks like the property market is turning a corner finally, with CoreLogic releasing data this week which shows the change in dwelling values across the capital cities increasing by 0.2% for October, the first increase since April this year. As expected Melbourne is the outlier amongst the capitals with -0.2% and regional Australia continuing to outperform with an increase of 0.9%.
Of course we often talk data on the show and today we go straight to the source with Dirk Miller from CoreLogic Australia joining us. As the Head of Product Solutions, Dirk shares a little company history, describes CoreLogic’s move into real time data and illustrates how everyone from consumers to agents and banks benefit from the timeliness of data.
This week on PropTech Now, Shaneal tells us about Mandeep Sodhi’s mortgage broker platform effi. Using a secure link, effi allows borrowers and brokers to more efficiently collaborate during the home loan application process. With the lofty goal of setting out to create the ultimate platform for mortgage brokers, effi might just be worth a look!
And finally tonight, we’re joined by Joel Hollis the Founder and Managing Director of tech driven, mobile agency Homies Direct. Drawing on his 20 years of industry experience, Joel launched Homies Direct in the midst of the pandemic lockdown and hasn’t looked back since! Servicing the wider Sydney metropolitan area, Joel tells us about the benefits of Homies Direct for both homeowners and agents.
